2020 Running Goal - Update #17

I ran another half-marathon yesterday and then a 5K today. I do feel tired, but overall my body feels good. My muscles don't ache and thankfully, neither do my ligaments and tendons. I have been doing daily stretches. It is still too cold and windy outside for April. I don't like it. I know each year is different, but as I get older, I find it silly and depressing that we can get nine inches of snowfall in the middle of April. I mean, at this point, living in Wisconsin means you have to squeeze spring, summer, and fall into 6 months, and then suffer through 6 months of winter. It does take a toll on your mental health. Luckily, we are getting more sunny days and the latest snow didn't stick around for too long. One final note, I am over 408 miles for the year and that's more than I ran all of last year. Again, my goal this year is to run for 1,500 miles. To meet my goal, I planned to run an average of 4.10 miles per day which would put me at 446.90 miles today to be on pace. So, I am 38.87 miles (or about 9.5 days) behind. Considering all the bad weather days for the last three and a half months, I guess I should feel lucky it isn't worse.
