2020 Running Goal - Update #16

I set two personal records for myself yesterday. Neither were planned as I just went with the flow. I started out with a slow run and didn't get tired at miles four and five like I have been lately, so I kept running around a 9:50 pace for the whole time. It was surprisingly cold with the wind and temps around 32 degrees, but I kept on moving and ended up with a new longest mileage PR of 16.40 miles and longest time PR of 2 hours, 43 minutes, and 22 seconds. Of course, when I got in the house, I refueled, stretched, and took a short nap, and got up and all my ligaments and tendons around my hips and thighs were creaky and sore and I had a little trouble walking around. However, one day later, today, I'm feeling pretty good. My muscles are not sore, but I can tell my ligaments are going to be zapping me for awhile. Overall, I'm happy and glad about my performance, and it actually helped me get caught up on my monthly mileage deficit for April. I had already missed two days due to bad weather, but with yesterday's run, I am at 48.99 miles (ahead of 45.10 mileage pace) and still have a chance to run today yet.
