Okay, nine days into May and doing okay. I'm still on pace for my monthly goal. I have 28.18 miles so far, so I need to average about 3.5 every day left. Last Saturday I participated in a middle school track meet by running as a community member in the 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, and 1 mile races. I was not used to sprinting so much, so my hamstrings are pretty tight and sore. I'm feeling better today, though. In my 1 mile race, I ended up with 7 min 06 seconds, which is my best time this year. I am over 400 miles for the year, so I am one-third of the way to my 1,234 mile goal.
